There was amazing music over both weekends at the Austin City Limits Music Festival 2026, including many great local artists! I was able to catch up with a few local bands (and recruit at least one to The Emo Diaries), and I also had the pleasure of speaking with an LA-based band (who you’ll meet later in this post).

First up is Austin indie band Flight By Nothing. They played a rainy set at the Beatbox stage on Sunday, October 3.

They are currently on tour from October 8 to November 15 and will be stopping by The Emo Diaries on Thursday, December 17 (which is, by the way, KOOP’s birthday).

Next up is Austin psych outfit Grocery Bag, who headlined the BMI stage Friday, October 2.

They will be playing at Still Austin Quarter this Friday, October 16.

Singer-songwriter Elijah Delgado played the Snapchat stage Friday, October 2.

He will be playing one of – if not the last – shows at beloved venue Valhalla on October 27, benefiting the SIMS Foundation.

Dallas hip hop act Cure For Paranoia played the Beatbox stage after a rain delay pushed doors back on Saturday, October 3.

He released a new single titled “Don’t Forget To Breathe,” which came out October 12 (our birthday!).

Indie electronic duo Almost Heaven played the Tito’s tent on Friday, October 9.

They also played a late-night show and a DJ set during weekend one and just released the 8th month anniversary edition of their record Raw Cranium.

Austin by way of College Station folk-rock band Montclair played the Tito’s tent on Sunday, October 11.

They just released their new single “I SCREAM U SCREAM” on October 2.

And finally, LA-based indie pop band Sunday (1994) played the Snapchat stage on Sunday, October 4 and 11.

The deluxe edition of their record Devotion was released on March 13, 2026.
