About Me

Promotions Specialist ⭑ Music Business Student ⭑ Radio Host ⭑ Talent Buyer

I want to put my knowledge of and familiarity with social media and communications to good use, applying what I know and continuing to learn and excel in the field. My passions lie with music and other media, however, I am open to all experiences.

Currently, I host two weekly radio programs on KOOP 91.7, lead the writing team, serve as co-chair of the programming committee, and produce underwriting and PSAs for the station. I have been producing content for KOOP for four years and working with audio engineering in various aspects since 2007. As head of the Writing Team, I compose concert reviews and lead a team of volunteers in different aspects of writing, photography, blogging, and publishing.

I have interviewed artists such as Britt Daniel (Spoon), Ben Kweller, Charlotte Sands, Dustin Kensrue (Thrice), and Something Corporate, as well as hosted numerous local artists on my weekly program.

I’ve wanted to be involved in the music business for as long as I can remember, and nothing has ever given me more satisfaction than spreading the joy and sense of worth that music has given to me.
