Stephanie is the greatest! Always on top of it, ready and willing to help out in any way she can, and highly adept in many areas! I always knew Stephanie was someone I could rely on to get things done. It has been absolute pleasure working with Stephanie at Pearlsnap Music Group.

Stephanie was, in all honesty, the best marketing intern we have had throughout my personal time at StreetAuthority. She learned quicker, contributed more and her fantastic attention to detail proved crucial in multiple instances.

Your onsite coverage was great. Your Insta Story posts were the best of the group. You really get social media and can multitask over several platforms. You did some good videos, too. Grade: A+

STEPHANIE – YOU DESTROYED ACL THIS WEEKEND

thank you thank you thank you!! The posts were awesome, on brand, and so creative!

-Abby Haynie, iHeartMedia

I somehow missed this yesterday but didn’t want more time to pass without echoing what Abby said.

Tremendous job out there this weekend. You destroyed it and made our competitor stations look completely irrelevant on social from out there!

Great job!

Feedback from KOOP peer reviews:

Interviewed her guest well, which made for an interesting interview.

As a feature of the Emo Diaries, Stefny! at the Disco defines community radio by bringing Austin music to the airwaves – an opportunity for local bands to increase their fanbase and have their story be told. Local music is also featured and groups rarely given exposure are always on the playlist. A perfect fit for KOOP radio.

A really great episode of The Emo Diaries. More so than anything, the flow and production value really stood out to me. It was very smooth and seamless. Stefny’s on-air persona matches up very well with the music, and it kind of feels like you’re hanging out with a friend (which is what really good radio can sound like). Keep up the great work!

While emo isn’t my genre of choice, I really enjoyed listening to the music on this episode, and more-so Stefny’s presentation and on-air demeanor!

This is the first time l’ve listened to The Emo Diaries. Enjoyed Stefny’s well-run program very much.

I was very impressed at how professionally produced this episode was. In particular, I likes how WebDAD cuts were threaded throughout the show, and not stacked at particular times. And, the station/show drops from other musicians were also well placed.

Stephanie kept the focus on her guests, Midcard, their recordings, gear, influences, and inspirations.

Stefny! Runs a smooth, proficient program.

Stefny! at the Disco is a pro at the mic, in her presentation and back announce… she has a real passion for the music aired and comes thru to the listener.

As stated Stefny! at the Disco is an old pro at the board and mic. Presented the show in a professional fun manner.

Stefny! at the Disco and Emo Diaries are real assets to KOOP and the community. Keep up the great work!

Stefny has a good radio personality and Stefny did a good job on back announce and the show was seemingly executed without technical difficulties.

A well executed, apparently error-free, entertaining show – well done!

I like the reminiscences and the disc jockey’s enthusiasm about the music and the chance to share. Also, she is generally very knowledgeable about the artists being played but honest and humble enough to admit to occasional information gaps (e.g., the Plough Lines’ current status as a band unclear on the Internet).

The featured bands in this episode weren’t formed any earlier than the late 1990s–which in the context of KOOP Radio is actually rather remarkable-but it left me wondering whether she ever plays the bands that pioneered emocore in the 1980s. Regardless, I enjoy the overall cathartic vibe, a defiantly hopeful compilation score for a given listeners mood.
